Wines of Saumur - Organic agriculture
My father, Yves Lambert created the domaine in 1996. At the age of 47. He decided to change his life and return to his roots around Saumur. His ambition from the outset was to perfectly exploit the terroirs of Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg the terroirs of Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg Saumur Champigny appellation, whether it be in Cabernet Franc or Chenin Blanc.
I joined my father in 2005 and together we continued his pursuit of quality. In 2009 we started working organically and also took on 8 clos (walled vineyards) of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc in the reputed commune of Breze. In 2018 we adopted the biodynamic approach so as to have a greater understanding of the micro and macrocosm and to better appreciate our terroirs. In 2019 we acquired new parcels within the commune of Montsoreau close to the river Loire.
