2020 Doyard Coteaux Champenois Rouge "Ay" is a still red wine made by Champagne Doyard. This cuvee is crafted exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the south-facing slopes of Ay Grand Cru. The grapes undergo whole-cluster pressing followed by fermentation and elevage in neutral oak barrels for 12 months with minimal sulfur additions. Aromas of red berries, wild herbs and subtle earthy notes precede a medium-bodied palate with silky tannins and a long, savory finish.
