layered and velvety, with lively acids and a nicely concentrated core of vibrant fruit, it's framed by powdery tannins and concludes with a long, nicely defined finish, has a little more reduction on the nose that made it a bit more difficult to read. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, a pinch of black pepper and a slight graphite note towards the persistent finish. This has real pedigree.
