The red 2015 Saltamartí is mostly Tempranillo with some 10% Garnacha fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled early after a small part staged in used oak barriques. It has a nose of cherry juice with something earthy and a vegetal twist. The palate feels very dry, with dusty, slightly rustic tannins. Better with food. 5,000 bottles produced.
Els Vinyerons Vins Naturals is a project linked to Amós Bañeres created in 2014 in the village of Torrelles de Foix, where they work ten hectares of Xarello, Tempranillo and Garnacha. The name is self explanatory. 10,000 bottles per vintage.
