"sourced from two different vineyards on either side of the River Xares (hence the name). This close proximity to a river allows for a gentle, cooling influence on the grapes that translates into a perfectly balanced wine. Vibrant and fresh, with wild strawberry, red cherry and a subtle, spicy kick. Intensely elegant and perfect with a light chill on a warm, summers day. Fermented whole cluster with native yeasts, this Mencia is fresh, bright, and live on its feet compared to some of its greener, earthier counterparts. Aged in a combination of concrete tank & neutral French oak, it offers bright red fruit, a touch of spice, & an elegant, mineral finish. Very tasty!"
