The Cote de Nuits appellation is a communal appellation of Burgundy. It extends over several villages: Corgoloin, Fixin, Brochon, Premeaux-Prissey and Comblanchien. It is in the latter that the Cote de Nuits Villages Vieilles Vignes of Domaine Jean-Marc Millot is located. The exploited vines were planted by Alixs grandparents 80 years ago. Comblanchien quarries confer a great dominance of limestone in the soils. The Cote de Nuits Vieilles Vignes is a wine in which minerality and freshness dominate. It allows aromas of black fruits to express themselves because the elderly vine gives a lot of well-ripened clusters. These fruity tones balance perfectly with freshness and straight acidity. Reflecting Pinot Noir, the dress is dark red.
