Winemaking: Grapes are destemmed with a week's cold soak before gentle fermentation; aged in oak barrels, including a modest proportion of new wood.
Tasting Notes: This wine presents dense plummy fruit with notes of earth, spice, and mineral on the initial attack. It has a robust, structured feel on the palate with plenty of tannin and extract, yet everything is in superb balance, leading to an elegant finish.
