Grapes from plot Clos Saint-Pierre reached excellent ripeness on this south-facing terroir with a clay but shallow soil.

Winemaking

1^st pressed, free run juice was vinified and aged entirely in horizontal sainless-steel tank for 8 months with occasional batonnage.

Taste Profile

The nose first reveals very floral aromas with notes of fresh butter and a hint of reduction. The palate is very dense with a tannic structure, yet without any heaviness. The density of this wine is remarkable, but it also has great length, with a very fresh and precise finish.
