There is a generous ripe apple fruit with an edge of citrus to this wine, accents of fresh white flowers and marzipan and a firm saline mineral underpinning. The texture is rich, yet there is plenty of energy to carry this to a pleasantly long finish. The grapes are from one hectare of the Pernot family holdings, planted by AlvinaÔøΩs grandfather, Paul Pernot and replanted to Chardonnay in the 1990s. Although Blagny is not mentioned on the label, this is where the grapes are grown. FINE+RARE
