In his previous life, Gaspard Brochet was a graphic designer. He abandoned his crayons in 2016, and after a degree obtained at the wine high school of Avize, he took over his father’s estate (Champagne Vincent Brochet). Gaspard belongs to this new, inspired and passionate generation of winegrowers, with a strong desire to shake up the codes of Champagne. The vegetal heritage of this young man is a 3-hectare garden, spread among the villages of Ecueil, Villers aux Nœuds and Sacy. In terms of grape varieties, Gaspard Brochet can count on the 3 main ones, although pinot noir represents the great majority. The winegrower had launched a conversion to organic viticulture, which became effective in 2021. The chemical-free soils are managed with the greatest care, and protected by a vegetal cover, every other rank. The wines are made without added sulphites, in small oak barrels, and are not filtered nor fined. We are proud to defend the few bottles (3500 for the entire world!) of this star in the making of the Montagne de Reims. The Pinot Noir Tome 1 is already magnificently pure. The bubbles are precise but never austere, the palate is smooth and the finish of great length.
