Vineyard: From 40 year old vines grown organically in Vilalba dels Arcs (Terra Alta) on very shallow calcareous soils from a single parcel called "Les Trufes" in Batea
Winemaking: Grapes are harvested by hand, whole cluster with out destemming and maceration for 42 days. Fermentation with native yeasts in concrete tanks. Aged for 12 months in chestnut barrels and bottled unfined, unfiltered, and zero SO2.
Tasting notes: Well defined berries. Wild strawberry, cranberry and some pomegranate. Olive and tomato. Garrigue and some herbs. Underwood and forest floor.
